Kremer Surgeons are "Top Docs - October 2002"
Two of Kremer Laser Eye Surgery Centers's doctors were chosen by their peers to be named Philadelphia Magazine's "Top Docs of 2002" in the field of refractive surgery. George Pronesti, M.D. and Frederic Kremer, M.D. were honored.

George R. Pronesti, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist and National Associate Director of Kremer Laser Eye Surgery Centers in King of Prussia, PA. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Pronesti obtained his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University Medical School in Philadelphia. He completed his internship and residency at the Friedenwald Eye Institute in Maryland. Dr. Pronesti has performed thousands of LASIK procedures and continues to perform the latest, most innovative procedures by participating in many ongoing FDA protocols. Beyond LASIK, his specialties include cataract and intraocular lens surgery and refractive cataract surgery. Among his achievements is his invention of the "Golf Bifocal".

Dr. Frederic B. Kremer
Dr. Frederic B. Kremer
Frederic B. Kremer, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist and the Director of Kremer Laser Eye Surgery Centers in King of Prussia, PA. Dr. Kremer received an electrical engineering degree (BSEE) from Drexel University. He then earned his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University and completed his residency at Thomas Jefferson University and Wills Eye Hospital. Dr. Kremer was one of the first 10 ophthalmologists to perform refractive eye surgery in this country. He performed the first LASIK procedure in North America and has since completed thousands of these procedures. Among his achievements is the development of the first excimer laser in the world to receive FDA approval for LASIK.
