Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
Many employers offer Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) --
also called a Medical Spending Account or cafeteria plan--
to help offset medical expenses. Flexible spending accounts
allow you to set aside pre-tax dollars for certain medical
costs that are not covered by insurance, including procedures
like LASIK. Ask your Employee Benefits Advisor about deducting
pre-tax dollars from your paycheck to help you save on your
laser vision correction.
FSA enrollment periods are brief, and usually open in the
fall. Don't miss your chance to enroll and reduce the cost
of your procedure! We suggest that, before setting aside funds
for LASIK in your FSA, you schedule a free consultation to
find out if you're a good candidate for LASIK.
