Kremer True Commitment
The outstanding results that patients see from Kremer Laser Eye Surgery Centers
are a direct result of our higher standards, namely, Kremer CareSM.
Kremer Sterility
Your surgery will be performed in a private, sterile surgical suite
that has been specially designed to provide a truly sterile operating
environment. That means your risk of

mission is to provide the highest quality, most technologically
advanced eye surgery in the most caring and courteous fashion, that's
Kremer CareSM."

infection is less than in the ordinary wearing of contact
lenses. A non-sterile environment (even a so-called clean room) can have
up to ten times the risk of infection as a sterile surgicenter. Using
only the best state-of-the-art equipment, the Kremer Laser Eye Surgery Centers
treats LASIK as a truly sterile procedure. Most laser centers do not.
Kremer surgeons use the most stringent sterile technique available:
- The operating staff wears sterile caps, sterile gowns, masks, gloves
and shoe covers
- The patients wear caps, shoe covers, sanitary jump suits and
are covered with sterile drapes
- The patient's face is cleaned with a sterilizing solution.
- The room is HEPA-filtered with separate humidity and temperature
controls.
- The floors and ceilings are sealed.
- The room air is completely exchanged an average of 15 times per
hour.
Kremer Experience
Our board-certified ophthalmic surgeons have been worldwide leaders
in vision correction since 1980. They have performed over 150,000 eye
procedures, including over 50,000 LASIK procedures. Frederic B. Kremer,
MD, world recognized pioneer, hand picks all the Kremer Certified Surgeons
who are trained in the Kremer technique. Also, no practice has performed
LASIK surgery longer in North America.
Kremer Technology
Leadership
Kremer surgeons built the world's first laser approved by the FDA for
LASIK, which continues to be state-of-the-art. Our doctors also developed
many of the devices, instruments and other components now used in LASIK
procedures worldwide. Kremer Laser Eye Surgery Centers participate in many FDA
protocols to develop the technology of tomorrow. We have been treating
patients with a "scanning and tracking" laser since 1999, and now have
the only 49 beamlet LASIK in the world developed by the Kremer Certified
Surgeons.
Kremer True Commitment
Care for Our Patients
When you choose Kremer Laser Eye Surgery Centers, we can provide you the lifetime
assurance you may want to have due to changes in your eyes. This may
be due to natural changes age may cause. If you have laser or non-laser
vision correction, and at any time in your lifetime you require an enhancement,
you may be able to receive additional treatment at minimal cost, using
current or future technology, provided that your Kremer Laser eye surgeon
thinks additional treatment is medically necessary, and you have completed
all first year post-operative follow-up visits and have been seen annually
by your participating co-care doctor. Kremer Laser Eye Surgery Centers can provide
you with a choice of flexible Kremer CareSM
options.
The True Commitment Lifetime Program also applies if you have had a
physiological change that affects the focal accuracy of your eyes, provided
that change is not related to disease, injury or presbyopia (the need
for reading glasses, which typically begins after age 40).
