What is the typical recovery time?
Most patients recover vision to pre-operative levels in a
few days to one week. Improvement continues for at least several
months and possibly up to one year.
What are the risks?
With any surgical procedure, an element of risk exists and uncommon
complications may occur. These include, but are not limited to infection,
inflammation, corneal swelling, glare, glaucoma, cataract and loss of
best-corrected vision. Your surgeon will review the details of these
risks with you.
Does insurance cover
this procedure?
Because this procedure is still an investigative protocol, your insurance
may or may not cover it. Ask your insurance provider.
